Proverbs 22:6 says "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."

It is upon this premise that Kingsway Academy School stands. Understanding that children ought to be trained in the way they should go, Christian education allows the molding of a child's mind, consequently affecting the way they think. Kingsway Academy is seeking to enroll families who are interested in seeing their children grow in a relationship with Christ and develop the life skills necessary toward fulfilling their God-given purpose in the world. We encourage you along with your child (children), to take note of our educational programs, extra-curricular activities and spirited school community.

Queen's College, the oldest private school in the Bahamas, operates as a grant-aided institution under the auspices of The Bahamas Conference of the Methodist Church. The school’s history began in 1870, when the Reverend Henry Bleby, Chairman of the Methodist Church of the Bahamas, proposed to the Methodist Missionary Society in London that a Methodist school be established here.

Queen’s College has always been a school that believes in catering to a wide cross-section of young people throughout the community. As a fully comprehensive school, operating under the auspices of The Bahamas Conference of the Methodist Church, our interests lie not only in academic excellence but also in raising well-rounded, courteous, spiritually grounded global citizens.

The Administration and teachers of Queen’s College are committed to bringing out the best in every one of our students and we are confident that our school will continue to add to the large number of outstanding Bahamian citizens, from all walks of life, who have passed through our doors. We pledge to combine our efforts with those of our students and parents to produce the brightest Bahamian ‘stars’.
